Growing Christmas trees isn't something that happens during a few weeks before Christmas. It's a year-round process that our family is involved in throughout the seasons.

Mum and Dad prune and prepare the trees, and when planting season arrives, Dad drives the tractor and shares instructions as we work our way through the new crop.

Our children don't just help with planting — they're growing up alongside the trees.

One of the things people are often surprised to discover is just how long a real Christmas tree takes to grow.

Some of our Christmas trees can take nearly a decade to reach their finished size.

Long before a tree reaches someone's living room, it has been planted, cared for, shaped and grown through season after season.

Every spring, summer, autumn and winter plays a part in shaping the tree that will eventually become part of someone's Christmas.

We don't rush that process. The trees need time, attention and patience to develop the shape and quality we're looking for.
