What Size Christmas Tree Do I Need?
Measure from the floor to the ceiling where your tree will stand, then allow space for the tree stand and your chosen topper. As a general starting point, choose a Christmas tree around 30–45 cm shorter than your ceiling height.
7 ft ceiling: consider a 5–6 ft tree
8 ft ceiling: consider a 6–7 ft tree
9 ft ceiling: consider a 7–8 ft tree
Remember to measure the available floor space too, particularly if your tree will stand in a corner or smaller room.
